31,000 BPL families to get power free of cost,promises Jharkhand CM

*To provide electricity to every village is priority.
*31,000 Below Poverty Line families will get electricity free of cost.
*Farmers will get electricity for 6-8 hours through a separate feeder.
*Road connectivity will be linked with every village by 2017
*The MLA can recommend construction of 35 KM village road.
While inaugurating the electrification work in rural areas at Football ground in Ghatshila under East Singhbhum district today,Jharkhand Chief Minister raghubar Das made these promises.
“This year,the state government has given priority to develop basic facilities of water and electricity to people.The work connected with underground cabling has already started at Jamshedpur,Ghatshila and Musabani”,said the CM.
The CM made it clear that “by 2018,no village will be left without electric connection in the state.”He further said that solar energy will be used to light up villages located in hills and forests in Jharkhand.
