33 per cent representation of women in Central Armed Police Forces approved

Rajnath_Singh_wiki_pub-250x305Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today approved 33 per cent posts at constable level to be filled up by women.

This decision has been taken in view to enhance the representation of women in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs).

According to an official statement, 33 per cent reservation of women constable posts would be in CRPF and CISF and 14-15 per cent posts would be in the border guarding forces that is BSF, SSB and ITBP.
