4- Lane and 6- Lane Highway underway

Chief Secretary Rajiv Gauba today strongly castigated the Bokaro DFO in relation to the stagnation of work on NH 23. He directed that the regional vigilance of the Chas –Ramgarh section should take place in a week.
The Chas Ramgarh section was proposed in March 2014 but the inspection task has not been completed till now.
He also directed the Saraikela Division that the forest clearance should be undertaken as soon as possible in the Ranchi-Mahulia stretch.
Rajiv Gauba was addressing the Investment Project Monitoring Group’s Cabinet Committee meeting today in Ranchi.
The Ranchi Jamshedpur 4 lane stretch is a very important project for the state, but the progress of the work is not satisfactory. The NHAI has been directed to complete the project so that the people can benefit from it soon. The Ranchi-Hararibagh-Bahri 4 lane stretch is also to be constructed.
The 6 lane project of the Aurangabad-Bawaadda land related issues have been sent to the Forest and Environment Ministry.
Railway officials informed that the Tory-Sibpur-Katotia work is in progress and the Latehar and Chatra land-related matters have been resolved.
The meeting was attended by officials from various departments as well as representatives from the corporate world.
