80,000 students to take part in Udan-2015,says Barnwal

DSC_7740Jharkhand Government Information and Technology Department is out to launch “IT Talent Search” campaign across the State.

Billed as Udan -2015,the campaign aims to create awareness about the IT,look for IT talents,train them and make students gain knowledge about the Centre’s ambitious project-Digital India.

Addressing media persons at the Suchna Bhawan in Ranchi today,the CM’s Secretary cum Secretary(IT) Sunil Barnwal claimed that over 80,000 students are going to take part in the Udan-2015 campaign.

Barnwal said that a historic state wide competition is going to be organised to make the students learn and gain knowledge about the use and significance of the IT tools.He informed that a decision toward this end was already taken.

“The competition is going to take place in three phases.In the first phase beginning on October 15,nearly 80,000 students from 1660 schools are going to take part in the competition”,said Barnwal.DSC_7753
