Alarming rise in dengue and malaria cases in Jharkhand

anopheles-mosquitoAn alarming rise in the dengue and malaria patients has become a cause of concern in Jharkhand.

According to a report, over 18 out of 26 patients admitted to the isolation ward of RIMS have shown the signs of malaria and dengue.

Due to the increasing number of patients, five bed have been placed in the special care ward of the hospital.

The administration has taken certain stern steps to combat with the situation such as spraying up of insecticides in Ranchi.

The continuous rains and the blocked drains have also made the situation worse.
