A Bharatiya Janata Party delegation led by Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today presented a memorandum to the Election Commission alleging that leaders from Congress, JD(U) and RJD were trying to divide the electorate of Bihar on communal lines for their vested interest.

The delegation urged the Commission to take ‘stringent action’ against the grand alliance leaders for polarizing voters of Bihar on communal lines.

The memorandum named Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and RJD chief Lalu Prasad, accusing them of making statements aimed at polarizing the electorate.
