Carnival celebrated at DPS Ranchi

DSCN6781 - CopyThe chilled wintery day of Dec 19 began with enthusiasm and merriment for the children of Primary wing of D.P.S., Ranchi.

For the tiny tots of Class Prep and I A,’Grand Carnival’ cum Picnic was organised inside the school premise.A costumed doll ‘Doremon’ was seen dancing and greeting the children at the main entrance.

All were in festive mood and the air was filled with music, dance and shouts of children clebrating the day.

The little ones were found hovering around the play area throughout the day.

For the students of class II and III also it was a picnic time but in a different way. They went on a trip to Zoo.

Children of class IV visited ‘Science City Centre’ escorted by teachers. They were mesmerized to see the thematic galleries.

Students of class V went on an excursion to ‘News-11’ to enhance their learning skill.

The excursion provided enlightening opportunity to the students to increase their knowledge. Encouraging the students Principal Dr. Ram Singh said:

‘The quality of life is more important than the life itself so one should enjoy his life to the fullest and participate in curriculum outside the normal school routine.’
