CM inaugurates JIASOWA’s Diwali Mela at Morahabadi Maidan

Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today in inaugurated the 9th Diwali Mela cum Utsav organised by Jharkhand Indian Administrative Service Officers Wives Association at Morahabadi Maidan in Ranchi.
Addressing a public meeting on the occasion,the CM thanked the office bearers of JIASOWA for organising the Diwali Utsav and said every human being should keep in mind the human interest and work for a common cause.
“The government is ready to back social service organisations(Read NGOs)who were working for the humanity”,said Das adding that the wives of officers were involved in doing social service.
“With support of a team work,Jharkhand will come up in the list of developed States in the next five years”,said the CM.
In view of the JIASOWA’s proposal to set up a school for the poor children,the CM said that state government will soon provide a plot of land to it so that the construction work starts in the current financial year.
On the occasion,the CM,with the support provided by JIASOWA,provided sweaters to 40 children,in addition to grants -in-aid to the topper of Class X to study upto Class XII and grants-in -aid to one child to do the course of engineering.He also wished happy Diwali festival slated to be held on November 11.
The inaugural function of the JIASOWA’s three day Diwali Mela inaugural function was attended among others by Chief Secretary Rajiv Gauba,CM’s Principal Secretary Sanjay Kumar and CM’s Secretary Sunil Kumar Barnwal.
