CS wants investor friendly policies

05RanProjectbuildingJharkhand Chief Secretary Rajiv Gauba laid stress on the need to come up with a policy which can minimize legal process and help industrialists make capital investment in the State.

Gauba said that land related acts should be reviewed and agenda should be prepared. He said it while reviewing the final draft of Food Processing Industries Policy- 2015, Feed Processing & Industrial Park Policy in his office chamber.

He said that Food Processing Industries Policy- 2015 aims at providing maximum agriculture & related facilities to share holders to make Jharkhand a leader in food processing sector. Mr. Gauba said that 5 schemes fall under this category which include processing unit, cold chain, primary processing center, mega project in food processing & modernization of trade related with meat & fisheries.

Regarding policy making he suggested the officers to increase the cost of plants & machineries between the pattern of Integrated Tribal Development Project (I. T. D. P.) & general category. At the same time, he suggested to fix minimum 10 acre area to establish industrial park.

Industry Secretary Himani Pandey informed the Chief Secretary that Jharkhand doesn’t have a fodder processing unit. Laying stress on the establishment of fodder processing unit , she said that it will boost up fisheries, poultry & animal husbandry in the State.

Legal Secretary B. B. Mangalmoorty , Agriculture Secretary Nitin Madan Kulkarni , Additional Finance Commissioner Mr. Satendra Kr., Industry Secretary K. Ravi kumar & Managing Director V. S. Khanna were present in the meeting along with other officers.
