In the last five years since 2008,he has implemented a number of projects for all sections of the people-Hindus,Muslims,Christians. These include school,community hall,hospital,sarna sthal,hostel,roads and platform for the Chhat festival.

Today,he inaugurated the modern cremation site at Harmu. This site where many bodies are cremated every day, was dirty,filthy and bereft of any facility but now it has facilities of water,shades,flank pathway and a gateway surrounded by freshly planted trees.

Later,she had an interactive session with the media.

Excerpts:

Question: India has sought access to David Coleman Headley and Tahawwur Rana. Is there any headway, or possibility that [inaudible]?

Under Secretary Sherman: As you know, prior to the conviction recently of Mr. Headley, there had been access and we understand that there is request for more. I know there was a Homeland Security Dialogue that was just completed in Washington. That is the channel along with our Department of Justice to resolve this request and I am sure that both our governments will work through this in whatever way is appropriate.

Question: You mentioned that there is a dialogue with India on the energy cooperation side as well. Since India has cut significantly its imports from Iran, so is there is a possibility that we may get a waiver again?

Under Secretary Sherman: I think that India has really made tremendous progress in reducing the level of its importation of Iranian oil. India has long been a leader in non-proliferation. They have stood side-by-side with all of us in the international community to say that Iran should not acquire a nuclear weapon. We greatly appreciate all of the leadership that India has provided, including their enforcement of sanctions. That decision will be made shortly. And all of the data is certainly pointing in a positive direction.

Question: The Afghan President has recently sought military help from India. Do you think India can play a role in the peace and security in Afghanistan?

Under Secretary Sherman: I think India is a crucial and key player in the future security and development of Afghanistan – both bilaterally and regionally. India has already made bilateral investments in Afghanistan, including as you know in an iron ore mine, but in many ways, providing capabilities and technical assistance. India has also been a leader in the new Silk Road and the Heart of Asia process. And anything that happens in this region of the world is going to be positive when India is engaged.

She was seen sitting with Vindu Dara Singh.After Singh was arrested,the police took note of this picture and the media splashed it with a story saying Sakshi,wife of Mahendra Singh Dhoni,can be interrogated in the spot fixing controversy.

She had not reacted on her ‘involvement’ which many people who know how honest and nationalist was the Dhoni family,believe was a ‘cock and bull story’carried by the media without any sense of journalistic ethics.

But on Thursday,Sakshi tweeted: “Have we all heard the song -Titanium by Sia and David Guetta, for those who haven’t Plzz do listen to it.”

The lyrics of the song goes as ‘ You shout it out/But I can’t hear a word you say/I’m talking loud not saying much/I’m criticized but all your bullets ricochet/You shoot me down, but I get up……’ indicating that Sakshi is just not bothered about it.

In an FIR filed at Jagannathpur police station in Ranchi he has alleged that Chamra Linda beat him up when asked to register his name
in the entry book before driving inside the premise of the Jharkhand Assembly on Thursday night around 10 pm.

Linda,who was not available for comment,did not register his name and instead got angry and beat him up,states the FIR filed by Saha.

The benefit of all schemes of the rural development and national social welfare should be made available to the beneficiaries on the basis of their identity,said Chief Secretary, R S Sharma.

झारखंड में ग्रामीण विकास तथा राष्ट्रीय समाजिक सुरक्षा कार्यक्रम के तहत चल रही सभी योजनाओं का लाभ लाभुकों के निशिचत पहचान के उपरांत ही उपलब्ध कराया जाए। इसमें यू0आर्इ0डी0ए0आर्इ0 द्वारा दिए गए पहचान संख्या काफी कारगर होगी। यू0आर्इ0डी0ए0आर्इ0 एक ऐसा डाटाबेस है जिसका उपयोग पहचान के तौर पर हर क्षेत्र में किया जा सकता है। यह एक ऐसा मंच है जिसका उपयोग आप पर निर्भर है। मुख्य सचिव श्री आर॰एस॰शर्मा आज प्रोजेक्ट भवन सिथत अपने सभा कक्ष में डाटाबेस ट्रांसफर से संबंधित बैठक को सम्बोधित कर रहे थे।

राज्य में पायलट प्रोजेक्ट के रूप में सात जिलों में चल रही डाटा इन्ट्री कार्यक्रम की समीक्षा करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि हर परिसिथति में डाटा इन्ट्री के कार्यक्रम निर्धारित समय सीमा में पूर्ण कर लिए जाएं। यह प्रक्रिया एक बार पूर्ण कर ली जाए तब अन्य सभी योजनाओं में इसका उपयोग सुविधाजनक तरीके से किया जा सकेगा। यह आँकड़े कम्प्यूट्रीÑत रूप से संग्रह ही मात्र न किए जाएं बलिक इसे अपलोड भी किए जाएं, सारे आँकड़ें आनलार्इन होने चाहिए। फिलहाल उन्हीं लाभुकों का डाटा इन्ट्री हो रहा है जिनके खाते बैंकों में हैं। मुख्य सचिव ने कहा कि एक माह के भीतर डाकघरों को भी इससे जोड़ दिया जाएगा, ताकि वे लाभुक जिनका खाता डाकघर में है, उन्हीं भी आधार पहचान से जोड़ते हुए योजना का लाभ दिया जा सके।

मुख्य सचिव ने कहा कि डाटा इन्ट्री के महत्व को समझते हुए इस हेतु जिला स्तर पर लोगों को प्रशिक्षित किया जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि डाटा इन्ट्री में रोजगार सेवकों, स्वयं सेवी संस्थाओं एवं कामन सर्विस सेन्टर की भूमिका महत्वपूर्ण हो सकती है। एक सप्ताह के भीतर इन्हें प्रशिक्षित कर इनके द्वारा डाटा इन्ट्री का कार्य प्रारम्भ करा दिया जाए, जिनका सत्यापन यू0आर्इ0डी0ए0आर्इ0 के माध्यम से कराया जाए।

मुख्य सचिव श्री शर्मा ने कहा कि जनवितरण प्रणाली, पेंशन सुविधा तथा छात्रवृति योजना में इस डाटा इन्ट्री से लाभुकों को अधिकाधिक लाभ पहुँचाया जा सकेगा। यह लाभुकों का पहचान सुनिशिचत करेगा साथ ही डुप्लीकेशन की सम्भावना नहीं रहेगी। उन्होंने पायलेट प्रोजेक्ट के तहत चयनित जिलों के उपायुäों को निदेश दिया कि डाटा इन्ट्री कार्यक्रम को अधिकाधिक प्रभावी तरीके से पूर्ण किया जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि अन्य जिलों के लिए भी इस हेतु एक वर्कशाप का आयोजन किया जाए।

मुख्य सचिव ने कहा कि जिला स्तर पर बैंक तथा उपायुäों के बीच समन्वय होनी चाहिए तथा किसी भी स्तर पर डाटा इन्ट्री में कोर्इ समस्या हो तो उसका निदान शीघ्र किया जाए। राज्य स्तरीय बैंकर्स कमिटि की बैठक में भी इस संबंध में प्रतिबद्धता व्यä की गर्इ थी। यदि किसी कारण से लाभुक के डाटा इन्ट्री के दौरान कोर्इ समस्या होती हो तो लाभुक को वस्तु सिथति से अवगत करा दिया जाए। यह बताए जाने पर कि छात्रवृति योजना के तहत बच्चों के डाटा इन्ट्री के दौरान अनुपसिथति डाटा इन्ट्री कार्य में बाधक हो रही है। मुख्य सचिव ने कहा कि आधार संख्या नहीं दिए जाने पर छात्रवृति बन्द कर दिया जाए। सर्वप्रथम यह आवष्यक है कि छात्रों को सूचित किया जाए कि वे अपना आधार बनवा लें, यदि फिर भी वे नहीं बनवाते हैं तो छात्रवृति की सूची से उनका नाम हटा दिया जाए।

The PDI team witnessed the trial machining on trial component of Gun Barrel supplied by FGK,Kanpur and they were highly satisfied with the quality and performance of the machine.

HMTP had bagged the order of 3 nos., the same machines in Dec. 2011. This work order was received against tender from Ordnance Factory Board under global competition from MCM Italy and PTG England. FKG Kanpur has a plan to finish 200 nos. of the Gun Barrel of T72 tank per year on these machines.

The machine has been designed for machining maximum barrel dia. of 1000 mm and maximum barrel length of 11000 mm. and can take up the maximum weight of 70000 Kg. It has a very powerful motor of 71 kW to run machine, the black forged barrel, to finish the barrel with precision.

The police suspect the crime was linked with a murder in the village some time ago. Sonu was accused in the murder case. “It is possible, to avenge this murder,the Maoists killed them”,said a police officer.

Bank of India’s newly opened branch office guided by me with an official information, moved to different villages to issue Kisan Credit Card (KCC) to the farmers. Inquiring with the incharge of a school, it was found that no KCC’s was issued till date. They had stopped expecting anything as there was no response from anywhere.

Farmers were suggested to form Farmers club and assured of financial assistance through issuance of KCC’s. ‘Birsa Farmers Club’ was immediately formed. Within 2-3 days Kisan Credit Card were issued using the affidavit of land possession and certificate from Mukhia. Now they are enjoying banking with the support of farmers club. Now we have to take pain in mobilising the farmers and convincing them to take the benefit of this facility.

B.K.Sinha, also an agriculture graduate, in consultation with the State Govt. surveyed for installation of drip irrigation. Meetings with the farmers at their doorstep or at branch premises were held to discuss all the activities to be undertaken for the all round development of the village with the active participation of Farmers’ club.

Bank has given progressive limit of 5 yrs to the farmers with increasing limit of 10-15% year to year basis as per cost escalation of inputs. Now farmers are adopting improved farm practices with financial assistance from the bank. They are also taking 2-3 crops in a year as per availability of source of water. They are confident that at any time of need, all types of assistance /support will be given by the bank . Farmers are proud of their bank which made them feel like owners.

If drip irrigation is installed to all eligible farmers with full fledged source of irrigation, this village may be categorised as a model village of Bokaro District in Jharkhand.

Farmers of another nearby village Sijua, also approached the Bank for issuance of Kisan Credit Card. They also formed the Subhas Chandra Bose farmer’s club and are enjoying Banking facilities of KKCs. They also feel owners’ pride for their own Bank, Bank of India – Tentulia Branch (Bokaro).
