Jharkhand, a tribal dominated state, is considered to be very backward in terms of health facilities.

The Maoist-affected state has lacked in providing many basic facilities such as transport, medical and education.

An 11-year-old tribal girl Maalti Tudu had to walk eight kilometers carrying her sick brother on her shoulders to reach a hospital in Godda district of Jharkhand.

Shocked to see her carrying her brother on her shoulders, people came forward to help her.
