IAS officer Sudhir Prasad gets IIT,Kanpur’s Aluminus Award 2015

Sudhir Prasad,Director General of the State government run Sri Krishna Institute of Public Administration,has gained a feather in his cap as he was selected to receive the IIT,Kanpur’s distinguished Aluminus Award 2015 under its category ‘Management Excellence.’

This information was provided by Professor Indrani Manna,Director,Indian Institute of Technology,Kanpur.In fact,this is the most prestigious award that the IIT,Kanpur,confers on its alumni for exemplary achivements.

The award ceremony is scheduled on November 2,2015 as a part of the Foundation Day celebrations of the IIT,Kanpur.On this occasion,awardees are given a picture and a citation.

”We also honour family members accompanying the recipient”,says Manna.

In a letter to Prasad,Manna has not only congratulated Prasad,but also requested him to go there aand receive the award with family members.

As it is,Prasad,1981 batch IAS officer,who is set to retire from the service on April 31,2015,is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from IIT,Kanpur.He has excellently served the State for over 34 years holding different posts such as Chief Secretary,Jharkhand and Deputy Commissioner,Ranchi.
