Inquiry into the setting afire of 10 Dumpers in Bokaro ordered,SP transferred

The Raghubar Das government has directed the Inspector General of Police,North Chotanagpur Division,Tadasa Mishra to enquire into the the burning of 20 Dumpers,allegedly by the Maoists in Gandhi Nagar Area in Bokaro on July 24, and submit report within a week.
Alongside,the state government has transferred SP Bokaro A.Vijay Laxmi with immediate effect and asked her to join the Police Headquarter in Ranchi.
Giving details about the state government’s order,Chief Secretary Rajiv Gauba today said that following Chief Minister Raghubar Das’s directive,the IG Tadasha Mishra was asked to enquire into the incident in which as many as 10 Dumpers were allegedly set afire by the ‘Naxalites’ in Gandhi Nagar area of Bokaro on July 24.
As long as the enquiry continued the DIG,Bokaro,Shambhu Nath Thakur will officiate as SP,Bokaro,said the CS in a statement today.
The other notification issued today said that Ashish Batra,who was out of the State under deputation,was given promotion in the scale of IG and asked to join the Police Headquarter as IG.
