IPRD’s ‘Itkhori temple’ wins the best tableaux award in R-Day parade

press_release_18434_27-01-2016The tableau displayed by Jharkhand Information and Public Relations Department on the 27th Republic Day function at Morahabadi Maidan in Ranchi on January 26 secured the first rank.

The state PRD had displayed the temple complex of Bhadrakali at Itkhori in the District of Chatra.In fact,the modern Bhadrakali temple complex is constructed on the ruins of an early medieval temple.

Jharkhand Governor Draupadi Murmu handed over the award to the state PRD Director A.K.Pandey after beat the retreat function ended today.

The award for the second and third position holders of the tableaux were the state education department and the water and cleanliness department respectively.Governor Murmu handed over awards to their representatives as well.

In addition,some attractive tableaux displayed by the ITBP,CRPF,Army NCC were given the first,second and the third ranks.At the same time,in playing the band,the Jharkhand Armed Police-1,JAP-10 and Homeguard were accorded the first,second and the third rank and as such the Governor handed over these awards to their respective representatives.
