Janata Darbar held at CMO in Ranchi

DSC_3363The Janata Darbar(meeting to hear the people’s grievances and address them) was held at Chief Minister’s Office in Ranchi today.

Addressed by the state Rural Dvelopment Minister Neelkath Singh Munda and Sports Minister Amar Kumar Bawuri,the Janata Darbar took note of the people’s grievances.Also,Munda and Bawuri issued directives to concerned officers to solve them in accordance with the law.

For instance,Sweta Verma,a citizen,talked about the trouble created by her in laws.Another woman Veena Devi pointed out that she had filed an application seeking benefits from the state government’s scheme-Laxmi Ladli Yojna two years ago.”I have not received any benefit till date”,she complained.

In response,Bawuri directed the district authorities to address her grievance at the earliest.

In the Janata Darbar,complaints connected mainly with issues such as land dispute,scholarship,employment,women’s harassment,land acquisition and removal of encroachment,payment of land revenues,community development,primary education,appointment of teachers,community health centre,setting up of transformer,construction of pond,drinking water,personal and family dispute and its resolution were filed by the people.
