Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Khunti and Dumka in Jharkhand on the Gandhi Jayanti day,the state government led by Chief Minister Raghubar Das is leaving no stone unrturned to make the events a grand success.

On the eve of the Gandhi Jayanti,a national holiday,celebrated in India to mark the occasion of the birthday of Mohan Das Karamchand Gandhi-the Father of the Nation.while Das met the Governor Draupadi Murmu inside the Raj Bhawan,students dressed like Mahatma Gandhi staged a programme at a school in Ranchi today.

Across the state,especially in Khunti and Dumka-both tribal dominated districts and towns,security has been tightened with the deployment of the Central forces.All roads leading to the venues where the PM Modi will attend the public meeting,are under the surveillance of the police.

As per the schedule,the PM Modi is slated to inaugurate the solar power plant on the roof top of the Civil Court in Khunti and launch the Mudra Bank Yojna by handing over Rs 212 crore worth loan to its beneficiaries figuring in six digits in Dumka.

Already,the Mudra scheme has recorded a phenomenal success in Jharkhand where a large number of small businessmen have gained loan under the Mudra scheme.

For instance,only under the Shishu loans,2465 small tea and snacks stall owners,3,346 vegetable sellers,3,239 fruit vendors,2,334 tailors and 1903 zerox copy machine owners among others have gained the loan,according to the state Finance Department Principal Secretary Amit Khare.

Under the Prime Minister Mudra Yojna,1,02,206 accounts have been opened against the target of 1 lakh,said Khare.
