Kirti Azad seeks intervention of Margdarshak Mandal

Winter Session of ParliamentMargdarshak Mandal of the Bharatiya Janata Party today held its crucial meeting at the residence of party veteran Murali Manohar Joshi, a day after party MP Kirti Azad was suspended for raising his voice against Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley over the alleged irregularities in DDCA.

Azad has sought intervention of the ”Margdarshak Mandal”, comprising Advani, Joshi, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Rajnath Singh, which was formed by BJP president Amit Shah after he took over the party reins.

This is for the second time in the last two months that the party veterans huddled in a meeting to take stock of the situation within the party.

The meeting held at the residence of Joshi was attended by Party Patriarch L K Advani among others.
