Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) supremo and former Chief Minister of Jharkhand Babulal Marandi has launched ‘Nyay Yatra’ to “expose the State government’s failure on all front and provide justice to the people”.
He has charged the state government with working on directions from the Centre. Marandi said Nyay Yatra was aimed at providing justice to the people who were allegedly being cheated by the central and state governments.
Criticising the large-scale transfers of officials and bureaucrats after the Das government came to power, he said, “The state government issues notification on transfer posting after getting WhatsApp messages from Delhi.”
He alleged that transfers were being done in violation of norms.
The former Chief Minister also slammed the Das government for the alleged sugar scam. He alleged that government was purchasing sugar at Rs 35 or Rs 36 a kg for BPL families whereas the commodity was available in the market at Rs 26 or 27 a kg.
