Obama & Modi get secure phone line,elevate U.S.-India strategic-plus Partnership

PTI9_30_2014_000302A_Kand_0_0_0_0Reflecting the close ties between the U.S. and Indian democracies as outlined in the January 25, 2015, Delhi Declaration of Friendship, U.S. President Barack Obama and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi agreed to establish secure phone lines to further discuss their commitment to a long-term partnership for prosperity and peace for the global community.

The leaders’ ability to make secure phone calls illustrates the elevation of the strategic plus partnership between the White House and the Prime Minister’s Office. “Chalein saath saath; forward together we go!”
