Order passed to turn Biometric Attendance System function in districts

Chief Minister’s Secretary Sunil Kumar Barnwal today directed Nodal officers from different districts of Jharkhand to respond to complaints of corruption seriously and get action initiated.
While addressing these Nodal officers through video conference,Barnwal expressed concern over pending complaints of corruption in Latehar and Bokaro.”In case,they fail to take action,they can face action”,he said adding that dispose off the complaints of corruption by next Tuesday.
He directed them to ensure that in all districts biometric attendance system was functional.He told the District Treasury officer to block salary pament of those staff who did not get their attendance recorded on it.In addition,he told Nodal officers to ensure certificates of birth,death,etc were issued by Subhida Kendra within time limit.
The video conference was attended among others by Director,Public Relation Department AK Pandey,Joint Secretary Ragendra Kumar and IT Department’s UN Singh.
