Police recover explosives from near residence of the arrested Maoist in Gumla

The police have recovered a huge quantity of explosives following the arrest and interrogation of a Maoist in Gumla district.
The explosives include gun powder needed to manufacture explosive,said the police adding that the powder explosive was recovered from the Maoist-hit area on Friday evening on the basis of information provided by recently arrested Maoist leader Prasad Lakra.
In fact,Lakra was arrested by police on Thursday during a raid on a rebel hideout near Katkari village in Gumla District.”Explosive material was found some distance away from the house of Lakra at Hesag village under Raidih police station”,said Gumla SP,Bheemsen Tuti.
