Raghubar Das to burn effigies of Ravana,Meghnad,Kumbhakarna at Morahabadi

Das accepted the appeal and told the representatives- Mukul Taneja,Ashish Bhatia,Punam Anand and Rajesh Khunna-that he had faith on the Dussehra slated to be held on October 22.
In fact,the Hindus observe Dussehra through special prayer meetings and food offerings to the Godess Durga at home or in temples.
They also hold outdoor fairs(melas)and large parades with effigies of the Ravana(a Mythical King of anccient Sri Lanka),Meghnad and Kumbhakarna burnt on the day of Dussehra.
In Ranchi,the effigies are burnt on bonfires in the evening at Morahabadi Maidan.he entire function is organised by the Punjabi Hindu Biradari.
