RBI-BoI conduct E-Talk programme at XISS in Jamshedpur

DSC00036The Reserve Bank of India,Patna, in league with the Bank of India,Jamshedpur, today organised E-Talk programme.

The programme, held at XLRI,a a private graduate business school,premise in Jamshedpur,was organised to promote and popularise the payment through mobile banking,Internet banking and ATM/Debit Card.

A.K.Verma,Regional Director,RBI,Bihar-Jharkhand,presided over the meeting.It was attended among 120 others including Brij Raj,Deputy General Manager,RBI,Shailja Singh,Assistant Managing Director,RBI,Alok Yadav,Deputy General Manager,BoI,Sanjay Prakash,Regional Chief,RBI,Pankaj Srivastava,Regional Chief,Bank of Baroda and Suresh Sonthalia,President,Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce.

Addressing the meeting,Verma talked about the aim behind the programme and said that the RBI was following the tecchnology to facilitate payment and disbursement.
