Resolve problems of investors quickly,directs CS

Jharkhand Chief Secretary Rajiv Gauba today held a review meeting on Memorandum of Understandings signed between the state government and different companies.
Reacting to the suspecision expressed by the companies in connection with new amendments in the law concerning raw material,Gauba directed that the raw material be made available through the joint body of Jharkhand State Mineral Development Corporation and National Mineral Development Corporation.
In connection with grants- in- aid provided to the industries,he suggested that a transparent and neutral guidelines should be prepared so that opportunities for industrial development gain strength.Apart from simplifying the rules and regulation,the forest related cases should be disposed in a time frame,he said.
Addressing a video conference,the CS directed Deputy Commissioners to resolve land based cases in a transparent manner at the earliest and in case there is any policy related case,coordinate with the concerned department and conclude the case,said the CS.
He also told the DCs to invite the investors and deal with their problem in a positive manner.
He directed the Energy Department to make available electricity to in dustries without any interruption.Toward this end,a meeting with industrialists should be held on October 19.
”Do not let any issue remain unresolved and instead following the rules and regulations solve their problem by taking recommendation of the concerned Department”,said the CS.
In the meeting,representatives of 24 companies and Principal Secretaries of Finance,Water Resources,Forest,Inddustry,Commercial Taxes,Mines,Revenue,Registration and Land Reforms were present.
Most of the issues discussed were concerning and,water,electricity,environment,pollution and raw material.
