School Hockey Tournament to take place in Simdega

As per the decision taken by the Sports Department,the inter-school competition will taake place in Simdega on November 2-4.The inaugural maatch is slated to be played at Albert Ekka Stadium.

Two teams each from three age groups of 14,17 and 19,of the state government run school are planned to take part in the competition scheduled to be played in Simdega at Parvati Sharma High School,Astro-Turf Stadium and Albert Ekka Stadium.

The final matches are slated to be held at Astro Turf stadium in Simdega.

The Simdega District administration has decided to make available hotels,guest houses and dharmshalas for lodging and food of the perticipants,said Simdega Deputy Commissioner Vijay Kumar Singh.”We will try to provide good food and breakfast to participants”,said Singh.
