Seven policemen killed in landmine blast in Palamu

Seven police personnel, including driver, were killed and six others injured in a landmine blast triggered by Maoists at insurgency-inflicted Palamu district of Jharkhand.

Sources in the State police headquarters said district police personnel were out on a search operation when Maoists perpetrated the crime near Kala Pahad under Hussainabad thana.

The injured jawans are being brought to Ranchi by choppers for treatment.
