Sikri takes over as new chairman of CCI

Devender Kumar Sikri has taken over as the Chairman of fair trade regulator Competition Commission and said efforts would be made to put in place a “very robust” competition framework.

He is the third chief of the Competition Commission of India (CCI), which keeps tab on unfair business practices across sectors.

He was sworn in by Corporate Affairs Minister Arun Jaitley in Delhi.
