Submit facts before the court,CM directs CS

Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Sunday directed Chief Secretary Raj Bala Verma to consult Advocate General,and,responding to the state Mines Department’s cases pending in the Jharkhand High Court,defend by submitting facts before it so that the interest of the state can be guarded.
“This was necessary to protect the interest of the state and its revenue”,said the CM.He also directed the CS to ensure that appropriate action was taken by the Department to collect revenue.
The CM’s move comes after the Jharkhand High Court had come out with an interim order against the Department in a writ petition –WP(C)No-2027/16-on April 21,2016.The CM was apprised of this interim order of the JHC by his Principal Secretary Sanjay Kumar.
