Get approval of Rs 50 lakh from the MLA Area Development Fund to get pond constructed in the constituency,directed Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das to the state water Resource Department.

Das directed the senior officers of the same Department today to coordinate with the Village Agriculture Committee to follow the principle of ‘water of the village to benefit the village’ for the coming financial year and incorporate this scheme in the fiscal year 2016-17.

“The forthcoming budget will be planned as a budget of the village,a budget of farmers.It will prepare development schemes mainly for the backward villages of the backward districts.Instead of big schemes,small schemes will be prepared by giving priority to them”,said the CM while reviewing the works of the Department inside the Project Bhawan in Ranchi.

Das said,the state government is committed to provide job to people in their own village so that migration is contained.This demands development of irrigation facility in the village.”Toward the same end,a pilot project will be initiated to utilize the stored water of the mines for irrigation and consumption purposes”,said the CM.
