While meeting with Power Grid Corporation of India Limited in Project Building, Chief Minister Raghubar Das instructed to complete pending work as soon as possible. Six Power Station constructions have been completed in Dumka, Chaibasa Madhupur, Manoharpur, Govindpur and Mango and construction of power substation will be completed soon in Patratu, Latehar, and Lohardaga. He instructed to immediately work on problem areas of power substation and transmission line.

The Chief Minister said that electricity is the basic requirement for the state's progress. Government is aiming to provide electricity to every household by Diwali. The goal of supplying uninterrupted power can be achieved from the new power station and transmission line. 

It is to be known that on 24 February 2012, the agreement was signed with JUSNL, but due to no significant progress made till 2014, the Chief Minister gave emphasis on it from the beginning of 2015. Presently with 9 Power substation and 27 transmission line, 70 percent work has been completed. CMD of PGCL said that the remaining work will also be completed in this financial year.

Chief Secretary Sudhir Tripathy, PGCL Chairman cum Managing Director Indushekhar Jha, Principal Secretary of energy Nitin Madan Kulkarni,  Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Dr. Sunil Kumar Barnwal,  Executive Director PGCL TC Sharma, SN Sahay, SK Gupta and others were present.
