In a bid to promote communal harmony, a three-day ‘Gao-Katha’ festival will be held at Balumath in Latehar, beginning tomorrow (Friday).

People of both the communities, Hindu and Muslim, will take part in the festival. Reportedly Professor Mohd. Faiz will grace the function as a chief narrator.

The function will be held in the Devi Mandap premises from 1p.m. to 5 p.m. In wake of this bold step, the administration has stepped up the security in the area and CCTV cameras have been installed to keep proper check.
