In a bid to promote community policing, the district police personnel of Seraikela-Kharswan district will take classes in schools as well as discharge their duty of maintaining law and order.

According to Superintendent of Police Inderjeet Mahatha, an instruction in this regard is being issued to all the graduate police officers and constables to take classes under their respective jurisdiction in the district.

The interaction would help the police to motivate the youths and students including those in naxal-affected areas of the district for a good cause and understand their problems as well, said the police officer.
